Join me for a spirited night of some of the best sea shanties/songs, Irish pub standards, East Coast classics and Celtified covers on offer when The Mighty Ship sails into Egremont Optimist Club in Holstein. There will be plenty of bagpipe music, songs about Jacobites, tunes about whisky, and a haggis to celebrate Scotland's National Bard Robbie Burns and his contributions to national and international culture. Come curl with us at the Almonte Celtfest Winter Bonspiel!
The Bonspiel is a day of fun and friendly competition with prizes not just for the best curlers but also for the best dressed!
Whether you can curl with the best of them or are coming out as a first-timer, you're invited to come rock the ice and show your stuff.
When: January 28, 2023, 10 am - 4 pm
Where: Almonte Curling Club (160 Bridge St. Almonte)
How: Reserve your spots - $25 per person (lunch included)
